“This is a nice simple apartment, at a 5-10 minute walk to get your baguette, and 5 minutes to the telecabine. We (family of 3) spent a week in summer, the apartment is big enough for 4. 5 or 6 persons would fit but, personally for me, it would be too crowded. The apartment is one of two in a small house at the end of a little road. With balcony (sunny in the morning) and garden with privacy and sun (although shared with the neighboring apartment). Bedroom is separate from the living/kitchen, a roomy hall and a proper bathroom. There is room for your MTB, VTT (board and skis in winter). The Internet is not too good, but will be improved. The owners are concerned about your well being which is good. In winter, a 5 minute walk to the new telecabine and you’ll be able to ride your board or ski right to the house.”

“Location first. I have skied several times in Morzine, and this location is about as good as it gets. On the last run blue home, you turn off about 100m before the end, ski across a field and you are literally at the door of this chalet. In the morning, carry your skis across the field for about 75 metres, then ski down to the first chairlift. Not only this, but if you chose to ski Supermorzine, the lift is about 250m walk away. The centre of town with restaurants/shops/ski hire is again about 250m away. The chalet is larger than you might expect. There is lots of storage in the hall, and you can walk round the beds easily. No cupboards in the hall that convert into bunks here. The kitchen is a proper size, with oven, 4 burner hob and dishwasher. The table is fine for 4, but could take 6 at a push. The chalet is clean and warm and hot water available at any time of day. The free WIFI is good. The TV has only French channels, but has an HDMI input if you want to play DVDs through your laptop. There is ski storage in the basement which is secure and insulated, but doesn’t have boot driers. Emilie and Bastien were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Both work as ski instructors. There is really very little negative to say. A proper kettle would have been welcome, and although the chalet could easily sleep 6, the table only has 4 chairs, and there are only 4 mugs and glasses etc. The shower was fine, but the design meant that water leaked onto the floor beside it. I would have no hesitation in recommending the property, and would definitely consider using it again. ”
